Arrow

This is coolbert:

From the Chicago Tribune today:

"U.S. delivered radar system, Israelis say"

"JERUSALEM - - The U.S. has provided Israel with an advanced radar system that will give it early warning in case of Iran missile attack"

"The radar system, to be run by about 120 accompanying U.S., military personnel, was delivered last week"

"The new radar system, known as FBX-T , will cut down the response time of Israel's Arrow anti-missile defense system."

This deployment is already NOT without controversy:

"In granting Israel the powerful FBX-T radar system to enhance its early warning resources against incoming missiles, Washington laid down a strict hands-off proviso. The system will be installed at a US base in the southern Israeli Negev. It will be off-limits to Israelis and managed exclusively by American personnel."

"This discovery, revealed here for the first time by military sources, has aroused astonished rancor in senior Israel army circles."

Astonished RANCOR!!
FBX-T can track a missile with great precision during the BOOST PHASE OF THE MISSILE FLIGHT!! This is an advantage!

And too, I would have to assume that a whole-range of American space-based sensors would also detect the launch and observe same, from the moment of missile ignition!!

A LOT is going to be read into this? Normally, the proud Israeli WOULD NEVER ALLOW FOREIGN TROOPS ON THEIR SOIL, MUCH LESS A DEDICATED MILITARY BASE, AND EVEN MUCH LESS THAN THAT AN EXCLUSIVITY PROVISO AGREEMENT ALLOWING FOR ZERO ISRAELI ACCESS!!
coolbert.
